This Cookie Policy explains how SEQUESTO BV uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on sequesto.com, and how you control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags and scripts. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.

2. Your consent

We use Cookiebot to manage your cookie choices. Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the website cannot work without them. We also use cookies and similar technologies that help us understand how our website is used and which companies visit it (section 4). Other cookies, such as analytics and advertising cookies, are used once you accept them in the cookie banner.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings icon on our website. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it and does not affect processing that already took place.

3. Categories of cookies we use

• Strictly necessary: required for core site functionality, security and to remember your cookie choice. Includes Cookiebot and our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services.
• Preferences: remember settings such as your language choice.
• Statistics: help us understand how visitors use the site. Includes Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, and RudderStack, which routes website event data to our own tools.
• Marketing: used for advertising, retargeting, measuring campaigns and recognising which companies visit the site. Includes Google Ads, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, the Meta Pixel, Microsoft Bing UET, the OpenAI pixel, Leadfeeder and Apollo.

4. Visitor identification (RB2B)

We use RB2B to identify business visitors to our website. Outside the United States, we do not use browsing information to identify you personally: RB2B identifies only the company a visit comes from. For visitors in the United States, RB2B may identify the individual business contact.

5. How long cookies last

Most cookies we use expire within 12 months; a few third-party cookies, such as Google Analytics, last slightly longer. You can see each cookie in use, how long it lasts and the consent you have given through the cookie settings icon on our website.

6. Third-party cookies and transfers

Some providers listed above, including Google, LinkedIn, Meta and Microsoft, also use data collected through their cookies for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. Some of them process data outside the EEA and the UK. Section 8 of our Privacy Policy explains the safeguards we rely on for those transfers.

Some pages may embed third-party content, such as videos, which can set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

The cookie settings icon on our website is the simplest way to manage your choice. You can also refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may then not work properly.
