aOS · Data sovereignty
Your data is stored where you decide.
When your SEQUESTO account is created, you decide where your data is stored: in the EU or in the US. Your tenders, answers and knowledge stay there, and the AI that works on them runs in the same region.

Where bid data sits becomes a decision you take once, at the start, and everything that follows holds to it.
01 · BID DATA
Why does the location of bid data matter?
A bid team works with some of the most sensitive documents a company holds: prices, margins, CVs, client references, security policies, and the buyer's own confidential tender pack. Many buyers write the rules into the tender itself. Public sector buyers in Europe often ask where every supplier's data is stored, including in the tools used to write the answer.
Most tools answer with a footnote: hosted "in the cloud". That is not an answer a security reviewer or a public buyer can accept.
SEQUESTO makes it a decision you take once, at the start, and that holds for everything that follows.

Before / With SEQUESTO
Before
- Data stored wherever the vendor runs
- "Where is our data?" answered in a footnote
- The bid team waits months for IT approval
With SEQUESTO
- You decide: EU or US, when the account is created
- One clear answer for your security review and for the buyer
- IT approves a region, the bid team starts
02 · SCOPE
What is stored in the region you choose?
Everything your team puts into SEQUESTO or creates in it:
Your projects, documents and the buyer's files.
The Knowledge Hub holds past bids, policies, CVs and certificates.
Comments, version history and the record of who did what.
When James, SEQUESTO's AI bid agent, reads a tender or drafts an answer, the AI runs in the same region as your data. Nothing leaves the region you chose.

03 · AUDIENCE
Who is this for?
Answer the buyer's data-location question in one sentence, and keep it true for the whole contract.
Financial services, healthcare, defence suppliers and critical infrastructure, where internal policy decides where data may sit.
One decision to review, at the start.

04 · OWNERSHIP
Sovereignty is more than location
Where data is stored is the first question. The next ones are who can see it and what happens to it:
Your data is used to do your work, inside your account. It is never used to train AI models, by SEQUESTO or by the AI providers we use.
Access follows your permissions. Folder and team permissions apply to people and to James. James only reads what the person asking is allowed to read.
Admins see who created, moved, shared or deleted what, and when. See who did what.
ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II.

05 · HOSPITAL TENDER
An example: a French hospital tender with a data clause
A French software company answers a tender from a public hospital group. The DCE (tender pack) includes a data clause: all supplier data used for the contract must be stored inside the European Union.
The company's SEQUESTO account was created with EU hosting.
The bid manager answers the clause in one line, attaches the security documentation, and James drafts the rest of the response from the company's Knowledge Hub.
Nobody has to ask IT for an exception.

06 · SETUP
How it works
Decide your region when the account is created: EU or US. It can't be changed later.
Projects, documents, knowledge and the record of activity. The AI runs in the same region.
The region holds for every bid and every user.

Security & governance
Your bids hold prices, CVs and client names, and a dozen people work on them, with an AI alongside. SEQUESTO lets you decide who sees what, control what James may do, see who did what, and know how every bid is going.
Learn more →See who did what
Every file created, moved, shared or deleted, every comment and every access change is on record, with the person who did it and when. You also see who works on which bid and how much time it takes, so you manage the team on facts.
Learn more →James, your AI bid agent
From the first read of the tender pack to the final file, James, SEQUESTO's AI bid agent, takes work off the bid manager's plate: summaries, drafts, contracts, forms, task assignments and follow-ups. You direct, he does the work, several tasks at once.
Learn more →Knowledge Hub
James, SEQUESTO's AI bid agent, drafts from your past bids, policies, CVs and certificates. No Q&A library to build first, and every answer shows where it came from.
