Telecommunications
Telecom RFPs and tenders, handled for you from your governed data.
A telecom tender from an enterprise or a public body asks for a network design, a site list, service levels, a security annex and a price schedule, each owned by a different team. James, SEQUESTO's AI bid agent, works from your service descriptions, SLA schedules and past responses, in the buyer's own file, and sends your architects only the relevant items that need their attention.
Who this is forBid managers, pre-sales and solution architects at telecom operators and network service providers, and the product, security and legal colleagues who own the answers.
The challenge
Why telecom bids pull in the whole company
One bid, multiple business units
Fixed, mobile, IoT, cloud, security and managed services each own part of the answer. The bid manager chases every SME by e-mail and stitches the replies into one document.
The site list and the service levels
Hundreds of buyer sites, each needing an access type, a bandwidth and a service level from the right catalogue. Pre-sales fills the annex row by row, then checks it against the price schedule.
Your customers' regulators, piling up in your inbox
Operators fall under NIS2 themselves, and their customers pass their own duties down the chain: banks under DORA, hospitals and public bodies under NIS2. The same security questions, each in their own format, all ending up with your bid and security teams.
How it works
From your institutional knowledge, to the buyer's file
01
Read and qualify the whole tender
James reads the RFP, the site list and every annex, lists the lots, award criteria and must-haves, and writes the bid/no-bid brief in your format.
Analyse & qualify02
Build the answer from your approved sources
James drafts each answer from your service descriptions, SLA schedules, security policies and past responses, with the source shown. Where there is no source, he marks the answer "Needs review" instead of guessing.
Draft answers03
Each BU or SME focused on the relevant work
Mobile questions go to the mobile team, network design to the architects, the security annex to the security lead. Each expert sees their own rows in one project, and the bid manager sees progress across the bid.
Collaborate & review04
Delivered in your format or filled in the buyer's file
James builds your complete proposal in your format, or fills each answer into the buyer's Excel or Word file, site lists and dropdowns intact. Each requirement is checked before the bid is complete.

Worked example
How James handles a regional network tender
A regional government tenders its wide area network. The pack holds a site list in Excel, with an access type and a service level to set for every location, a requirement matrix of several hundred rows, a security annex built on NIS2 and a price schedule. James summarises the tender, the lots and the must-haves. He drafts the requirement answers from the service descriptions and SLA schedules, and marks the rows with no source "Needs review" for the network architects. The security annex is answered from the current policies; the open questions go to the security lead. The price schedule stays visible only to the bid manager and the commercial lead. James fills the buyer's workbook and runs the coverage check, which lists the sites still missing a service level.

FAQ
Questions from telecom bid teams
Yes. He fills the buyer's own workbook row by row, keeps their dropdowns and formulas intact, and marks every row he cannot answer from your sources "Needs review".
Each question is assigned to the team that owns it. Mobile, fixed, cloud and security experts see their own rows, and the bid manager sees progress across the whole bid.
No. He answers only from the sources you approve and shows them. When there is no source, he says so and marks the answer "Needs review".
SEQUESTO. Every answer James drafts is traceable to the service description, SLA schedule, policy or past response it came from, and the audit trail records each edit and approval. When a buyer asks who committed to a service level, and on what basis, you can show them, as rules such as the EU AI Act expect of AI used in business.

Copilot helps one person find and write text. James works inside the bid: he answers the whole requirement matrix from your approved sources, assigns the open questions to the right business unit, fills the buyer's own file and checks every requirement before submission.
