Track the work inside every bid, and report across all of them

Inside a bid, see every question and section move from draft to reviewed. Across your bids, dashboards show your pipeline, deadlines and win rate, built on exactly what you want to report on.

A bid manager and a head of bids ask different questions, so each finds the answer in one place, and every chart opens the bids behind it.

Before / With SEQUESTO

Before

  • A master spreadsheet of tenders, updated when someone remembers. Progress on each bid checked by opening every document. The quarterly win rate is rebuilt by hand, by count only, and nobody can say which bids are behind the number.

With SEQUESTO

  • Inside each bid, the table, timeline and kanban views show what is done and what is open. Across your bids, dashboards show pipeline, deadlines and win rate by deals and by € value, and every chart opens the bids behind it.

TWO LEVELS

Two kinds of tracking, each in its own place

A bid manager and a head of bids ask different questions. "What is still open on this tender?" is answered inside the bid. "How is our pipeline doing this quarter?" is answered across all bids. SEQUESTO keeps the two apart, so each person finds their answer in one place.

  • 01

    Inside a bid

The work. Every question, requirement and section, with its owner and status, in table, timeline or kanban view.

  • 02

    Across your bids

The pipeline. Dashboards with the figures you report on: deadlines, value, stages, win rate.

  • 03

    Your own dashboard

Each person also has their own personal dashboard with what is theirs to do. See Collaborate and review.

BID VIEWS

Inside a bid: see the work move

Every question, requirement and section of the bid is its own item, with an owner, a status and a due date. Pick the view that suits the moment:

  • 01

    Table

Every item in rows, sorted and filtered, for example everything still "Waiting for SME".

  • 02

    Timeline

Items laid out against their due dates, so you see what lands in the last week before it becomes a problem.

  • 03

    Kanban

Items as cards moving through your own review steps, from draft to final.

  • 04

    No documents to open

The bid manager sees at a glance what is done, what is in review and what is still empty, without opening a single document.

DASHBOARDS

Across your bids: dashboards on what you report on

Across all your tenders, you build dashboards from widgets: charts, tables and single numbers on your bid fields, such as buyer, contract value, deadline, stage and outcome. Report on whatever you want to see. James fills most of those fields for you from the tender during analysis.

You don't start from a blank page. SEQUESTO comes with standard dashboards for what bid teams look at most, ready to use or adapt:

  • 01

    Pipeline by stage

Pipeline by stage, with the value at each stage.

  • 02

Deadlines in the next 30 days

Deadlines in the next 30 days, so three tenders closing in the same week are visible early.

  • 03

Win rate by deals and value

Win rate by number of deals and by contract value (€). A team that wins many small bids and loses the large ones sees it straight away.

  • 04

    Workload per bid manager

    Open bids per person.

Named rolling periods, such as "last 3 months", keep every dashboard current without editing, and every chart clicks through to the bids behind it. For the full detail, see Your reports, in your format.

CONTRIBUTORS

Who works on what

Every action on a bid is on record, with the person who did it and when, including what James did on whose behalf. You see who contributed to each bid and how much time each person spent on it. Details are on See who did what.

Who works on what

TELECOM TENDERS

Example: a telecom infrastructure contractor with 40 live tenders

A telecom and energy infrastructure contractor runs about 40 public and private tenders at once, across Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. Each bid has fields for country, service line (fibre, mobile, power grid), contract value, submission deadline, bid manager and outcome.

  • 01

    Monday pipeline dashboard

On Monday, the head of bids opens the pipeline dashboard.

  • 02

    Submissions and win rate

The "next 30 days" widget shows four submissions in the same week. The win rate widget shows win rate by number of deals and by contract value for "last 3 months", per country.

  • 03

    Click through to lost bids

The Norwegian win rate by value is lower than by count, so the head of bids clicks through to the lost bids behind the number.

  • 04

    The bid manager's kanban

The bid manager on a Norwegian fibre tender opens the bid's kanban view instead: 52 questions done, six still in "SME input", two of them due tomorrow.
